Please Help Me!

okay so I'm new to wanting to play project M and I've done everything correctly when it comes to downloading the files and getting it set up, but after I go to stage builder on both my Wii and Wii U, it just loads up brawl normally, doesn't have that custom project m look, but when I go to the characters, everything is there. once I start trying to choose a character though the game freezes forcing me to pull the power cord and reboot, wasn't sure if anyone could help me!

both my systems aren't hacked, so I chose the Hackless Wifi-Safe zip thing.

I'm assuming you've deleted all Custom Stages, including the few that comes with a new save file? On the Wii U, did you try inserting the SD card after starting up Brawl? I heard that either the Wii U menu or vWii menu tries to delete (or tamper with) Smash Stack. Is your SD Card 2GB or less? What format is your SD card? More details would be nice.
