Please help me Project M :(

So i am new here and i want to know how project m works because whenever i go to project m after a match the results screen would become frozen when i play with Roy or when i play with any one else it would be the brawl results screen and i hate that so i would have to turn of my system and restart and the same thing would happen PLZ help (P.S Im on a Wii U) Answer Please
