That's for me to know
Well, I guess here are a few things. One, don't overuse shuttle loop. It's your main kill move. If you use it too much, your going to weaken it tremendously with that stale-move-negation. Also, I would recommend not using dimensional cape unless your edge hogging with it, if not at all. It's really slow and can be easily punished if the opponent knows where your teleporting. Your edge game might need more practice. Other than that, just keep versing people and you'll eventually be able to use Meta Knight more fluidly...

I'll try to do less spamming with the Up B. However, I wanna try and keep using the Dimmentional Cape for more then one situation. I like to use it when I'm evading some attacks, closing in, or just do it to psyche them out. Many don't really expect Meta Players to use it. Though I will admit, there were times I was punished for it, but it was only because I both used it at a bad time or that they did knew where I was going. In anycase, I'll try to fix this problem.

1. Spacing: Most of the time you were in range for one of your opponents attacks, even if your aggressive that does not mean that you can't hit with the tip of your attacks and be aggressive. Which brings me to Zoning.

2. Zoning: You can use an aerial then DI backwards (called Zoning) so that this way you can hit your opponent with the tip of your attack and by DI'ing backwards you will be, most of the time, out of their attack range.

3. There were times were you could have used Up-b for kills and you didn't, and then there were times were you could have done some more interesting setups but decided to use Up-b.

I must say when I saw the Peach video your play style completely changed. Your spacing was fairly well, and your zoning as well, your downsmash and Up-B setups were executed most of the time. One thing MT is your friend, use it a bit more like when out of a shield etc.

1) The reason why I was hit with most of those attacks was because the player knew my play style. He knows that I'm agressive at times and will counter attack most of my approches with his moves (as you saw, I was getting ***** by Rock Smash). I usually do space well, but I felt agression was good for PT (mainly Charizard, at least).

2) Zoning? There's a word for spacing back + aerial? XD well, I've been doing it more recently, now that I've gotten the hang of it. I'll try to do this more accurately.

3)I gotta learn to have more then one type of kills. Usually I nair or Dair them. I would Up B them if it either put them in a spot where it's sure to connect, or it's just a feel that it's a better Kill move at the time. In anycase, I'll try to be a bit more creative with kills.

what is MT?

mach tornado? mebbe it's just my aggressiveness, but i feel u stay too much on the ground. i think mk rly shines with his aerial combos and juggling, especially when the opponent is off stage.

Ahh, kay. March Tornado. lol

I guess I should do more aerial attacks, but...I dunno. some stages don't feel too good with my aerial attacks. most of it you'll see is on Battlefield, where I abuse the platforms and such. I guess I should try to stay less off the ground.

And yes, first match was horrid. "Rock Smash > Meta" - quote by Vanz. XD

SH (short hop) fairs/dairs r great approaches, use them more. the dash attack approach is predictable at times, so you can mix it up w/ SH's or dash grabs if they shield

*bump*

Hopefully, the mods don't kill me for bumping a 2 month old thread of mine. Made better sense then just making a new one IMO...>>

^ This is exactly what DC is useful for, but use it in moderation, since it's easily punished and relatively predictable. One typical use I have is fastfalling an approach to the ground when they're waiting below; if they don't see it coming, or they misjudge which side I'm on, this will usually lead to a free D-smash....unless they shield. Just my 2¢ :)

As far as critique, well:
1) Since MK lacks in raw KO ability, gimping is what he shines at, if they're offstage, f-air, d-air, n-air, most of his aerials have enough priority to really mess up nearly anyone's recovery.
2) Priority, speed, & range give him a ridiculous airgame; if they get launched, follow them up there, don't give them breathing room. Meh, I need to watch more of those vids, I'll edit this.

A neat trick I found was DCing to the ground near the opponent and then using the tornado, which there was nearly no lag. It's a nice surprise attack.
