I'd be ecstatic if they decided to throw l-canceling back in as well, not that it would ever happen though.

That's just epic.... Bowling balls?

"Heeey, America! We know that your grown-up gamers won't really go for a game like Smash Bros, so we thought we'd make it more fun for the kids!!"

The sounds for the US version have been the same as the japanese one.

UP UNTIL NOW (slaps self)

Seriously, go watch the US version of Brawl Wifi match. Thats the US version because Sonic has his english voice. You're telling me they'd suddenly redo all the hitting sound FX to be like Smash 64?

FYI SSB64 Japanese and American sounds are totally, totally different. American ones sound a lot heavier and harder than the Japanese counterpart, which, when you hit someone, sounds akin to making popcorn. Also, there are a few graphical changes in the Japanese Melee and American Melee.

There will always be changes. It's called localization. Americans like their noises heavier and louder than Japanese. Deal with it.

... How ********. O_o

They immediately jumped on the whole, "MASTER CHIEF SHOULDA BEEN IN" Cloud and Sephiroth too?

They said that if Sephiroth were in that it'd make the game go up to the Legendary status?

... -_-;

I love Sephiroth, he's my favorite Final Fantasy villain of all time. But until he does something significant for Nintendo in some way, shape, or form, he can stay the hell out of Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

I really, really hope that they don't nitpick this game because it really is going to be the greatest of all time.

This was the case in Smash 64, yes. Not that surprising, but... I think Brawl should remain like the JPN sounds, realistic. It was fine for the N64 version, as it had such a comical look, but with Brawl...
