There are no new emulators, everyone still uses project64k

I havn't seen paramount X since emularena shut down

iXi is still around and UNKNOWN lets just about everyone in his clan nowadays

Fortunately masterhand/crazy hand isn't around(that guy was an idiot)

Paramount X hasn't been on in a year or two.

Make sure to download Ownasaurus's new kaillera client (available in the index). It has more features and is more secure than the older clients. That index page also has a version of project64k that's ready to go.

As nova said, "The Galaxy" is the new smash server, which has been owned by me since early last year. It was originally in New York but is now in Chicago. Everybody plays on LAN now so you should switch to that. The server is pretty much just as active as when you last played.

On smashboards we are now part of the "Melee and 64" section and we have a backroom.

Thanks a lot! I have project64k running thanks to that link in the index guide. Yeah I remember masterhand/crazyhand getting into a lot of arguments with people lol.

Oh, that sucks about Paramount X. I downloaded that Ownasaurus kaillera client and it's way better than the old client. I hated it because it was way too small and I noticed you can resize the window now... I also downloaded the project64k zip from the index file.

okay, so about controllers, I currently want to use my gamecube controller with a joybox 13 adapter i have but whenever i'm in game, my character shields like if i'm pressing the z button but i'm not and i don't know how to get rid of that.

i also have a xbox controller that i can use but if i can't fix the gamecube controller issue, i guess i'll use this.

nintendo 64 adapters: i've been always curious about these things. i remember hearing about them and looking them up but they costed a lot of money. did the prices go down by any chance?

I dont know what you think is a lot of money, but if you browse on ebay you should be able to get good 64 adapters between 10 and 15 dollars. So its not so bad.
