(This is a repost with some modified stuff)

There are times where I've been playing For Glory at times. While I'm only playing on the 3DS, this may apply to the Wii U as well.

Ever had those times where you're always fighting against someone who just crushes you somehow? Or at least you're never able to get more wins than them?
Especially if it's on For Glory, With Anyone?

Due to the lack of communication, this is one thing that really frustrates me with online play with games like this in general; you can't tell if:

*Your foe is happy enough to spend a lot of time just playing the game with you, no matter how much your ass keeps getting handed to you.
------
*Your foe is actually a SmashTuber ready to insult you on the fly in anyway possible by switching characters whenever they feel like it, just to prove a point that you can't beat them during those disrespect "MLG Space Jam" montages you see EVERYWHERE on YouTube (IntroSpecktive summed up the stereotype perfectly).

Because of this, it feels a lot more frustrating to lose online in Smash 4, especially since adapting and learning good habits aren't as clear cut and easy, as well as the fact that the defensive options in Smash 4 also trump the existing offensive options as some other forums point out.
This often forces me to run away with movement and rolls in the mix as much as possible just so I can get them to be impatient; even then I still am a dumbas when it comes to being juggled and trying to time my attacks to beat out theirs.
(On some forums, there exist offensive options, but many people I hear say that the defensive ones are too reliable.)

On the VERY NOTABLE CONTRARY:

*I have NOT encountered the roll-spammers or projectile lag spammers. I have been guilty of roll-spamming and dash attack-spamming in the past, but I've been changing it up nowadays. I still have a bad habit of thinking I can down throw-combo with everyone though.
-----
*I have NOT encountered the same kind of player over and over; the stereotypical/infamous :4littlemac:Little Mac, :4link: Link and :rosalina:Rosalina mains on my end have actually been VERY RARE to encounter on my end. One time I faced a Little Mac though, it wasn't anything like people say it would've been.
-----
*I've actually fought A LOT of good players, to the point where back then I would often **** around whenever my morale was absolutely crushed, since like I've said, I can't tell if they're okay (or if they're like shofu saying "come on man I wanna play more") or if they're ready to laugh while ****ing me up some more just to make sure I regret ever being born.

P.S. Sorry shofu, to nod to one of your old For Glory videos, most players like me don't find it to be worth wasting their time getting bodied hopelessly.
This is why there needs to be an official forfeit option rather than giving off the "ragequit" vibe.

I could be a very sensitive idiot, but losing is never fun for anyone, and sometimes it's hard to always try to think less about winning.
This only happened so far once with :4mewtwo:Mewtwo, where I was solely dedicated to picking him up against an opponent who bodied me a lot, and I eventually got used to him enough to somewhat quit peacefully after a few more matches.
