Playing Falco help me play as Fox in someway?

I main Falco (as in, total suckage with every other character) and I figured I would might need a secondary some time; what better duo than Fox if I'm already maining the other space animal? Two very different characters, but will my experience with Falco help me any with Fox?

not really, i went the other way, and it took me the same time to pick up falco as it did CF. in some ways, it'll make you worse at first. But it's just as if you were to play a whole new character, so why not pick up fox. everyone else is doing it.

falco skill can help with fox, although they are majorly different.

i dont think playing another character can help you with a different character so just stick with falco unless you actually decide to 2nd fox and just play him for fun. which i wouldnt really recommend because he takes awhile to learn. try marth or sheik or maybe even the almightiest of godly man captain falcon.

The two characters are totally different and so you're really not learning much about one from playing the other (except perhaps you'll gain the very high technical skill needed to play both of them). Regardless, don't let it discourage you from playing them both. When you play both spacies, there's really no match-up that skill can't win you.

don't 2nd that ***** peach, it's one of my missions to decrease the # of those. another mission is to get ppl to play CF more. So go w/ Captain Falcon.

i dont think being falco helps alot only a little.
you have to adjust yourself to fox fast falling and difference in speed of the pressing the jump button for short hop.

My CF actually had it's first debut of tourney play today and beat some mario and in teams it worked w/ brinstar. first time i played CF at a tourney and not marth. that tiara/boob plating wearing woman-man. (s)he's got nothing on CF, except a sword.

Going over to Fox from Falco could also bring problems like L-Canceling the dair. Falco's dair and Fox's dair are completely different in when to L-Cancel it.

Don't count on falco helping you pick up fox. So if that's the reason you want to pick up fox at all, then you should just leave him alone. If you ARE however, serious about fox, then expect to learn him just as you would any other character.

p.s. I'd recommend Marth, simply because maining marth and falco would give you much more versatility than maining fox and falco.

YOur secondary should be shiek marth or fox.

It only helps with maybe a few mindgames. Like when to SHFFL bairs maybe. So...it doesn't really help. To get good at something, in this case Fox. Play Fox...
Getting better at the game in general ca help all your characters improve though.
