I'm trying to avoid the bigger, more expensive, (including gas price), tournaments until I actually get first place in a local tournament. We just have no smash scene, There are 3 other kids in my highschool that play, Kind of thinking about making a small Crew, But I'm also just thinking of hosting tournaments.

Don't think of it just for winning, in fact one of my first tourneys ever years ago was Pound 3. The price is worth it when it's multiple days, and frankly there are no tourneys in Hershey - Philly is the closest.
With it being 2 days you get tons of matches with pools, possibly AM brackets, 2 days of friendlies, meet hundreds of players from all over for the best practice with tons of different types of players, etc.

Ohh yeah, but the issue right now is School, I think when summer comes around, i'll be traveling, And I only have my driving permit, so i need a parent to take me :/
