depending on the ammount of customication, i actually think player made stages could be used in competive play and even tournaments.
every 1-3 months, people could submit their stage ideas to a thread mande here on smash boards, there pros/mods will nominate one to be the flavor of the month stage that can be used in completive play.
then the selected stage would be... well, honestly Ive no idea how stages will be downloaded. but i dont think it would be to hard to get everyone on the same page.
just to be clear, this flavor of the month stage would not be random, just counter-pick... however if they do not release some classic stages such as FD, we cna just make it ourselves.
