I don't know about you guys, but there was one glaringly missed opportunity with Melee and Brawl. Special Melee/Brawl was great and all, but I always wanted it to not have to be applied to all players.
Imagine having the option next to the player slot to tick off which power-ups/items you wanted on that player alone? You could have some really fun games with this option. For example, a 2 on 2 of Metal Characters vs Bunny Hood Characters. Or for the bold, you vs three invisible lvl 9 CPUs. Or maybe you want to beat on three of your normally-powered friends as giant DK.
I've always wanted Sakurai to implement this feature, it would be so fun to mess around with this mode. This can only add to the zany game that is Smash Bros. And unless I fail to see something inherently problematic about this, this should be in SSB4.
So, what other possibilities could this bring? How can we let Sakurai know about this opportunity? What are your thoughts?
