Platform Play Help

Hi im a rookie to the competitive scene of smash and i am starting to realize that often times when i play on a stage with platforms it's almost as if i lose some of the momentum i have when i try to chase or i try pillaring, etc and i have to use the platforms (mostly because i can't execute correctly what i want to do).
However when i watch the pros they play so smoothly with platforms and it's so natural to them i guess what im trying to say is that it's almost as if they can fluently speak a language that i can only stutter. I realized the amount of training they have on me but obviously they are my main reference
I guess i should practice wavelanding on them and other advanced techniques but i was wondering if you have any tips for me to implement in my play
Thanks in advance

TL;DR:i need help to be able to play fluently with platforms without losing momentum if you have any tips fell free to share them

Learn how to waveland on platforms comfortably as well as understanding which attacks work best through platforms when you're beneath them etc.

Also learn techniques like Isai dropping/shield dropping etc. Basically the general idea is to increase your fluidity of movement on platform stages as well as understanding how attacks work with platforms in play.

Still, platforms do have a tendency to break sone of the momentum anyway, this is often why many players opt to strike or ban FD against Marth (which I'm guessing is your main from your postbit), so don't worry too much.
