Planting c4 on enemies?

Sorry bout this question, I searched but couldn't find anything. I was playing a snake ditto the other day and noticed a c4 on my snakes face. Just wondering if is possible to plant c4 on an enemy, i've tried in training and it just falls through. Was it just my own somehow?

All you need to do to stick a C4 onto someone is press down+B like you normally would. You just have to be close to them. I haven't played in training mode much, but that's not a good place to test certain things. For some reason, training mode is different than regular Brawl.

It works fine in training mode. It's a lot easier to perform this move while running. You can even do this move in the air, but it's a lot more difficult. Just keep in mind that when you touch someone, or roll through someone, who has a c4 attached, it transfers to you.

I had that happen to me once. I thought I was so clever, planting a C4 on someone. I said "gg nub", and detonated my C4. Then I blew myself up and died. Hah.

today i was playing against a CPU, and he planted a mine on me mid way in his Cypher.......dont know how the hell he did it...gonna have to look into that
