Planning Stages: Tourney in Silver Spring MD

Hey It's Repryx. I Had a thought That I entertained With My Friends Kloke and Kushtrim...How About a "Final Smash" Tourney to Celebrate the end of Melee and Birth of Brawl???

We are thinking of Setting the Date Around November (Since confirmation of a Place wont be Available till September....)

I want to know IF We were to hold this (Pobably @ Blair HS) How Many People Should we expect & How should we set things up??? (Food, Drinks, Setups....)

THeoretically If we do this...It should be the biggest Smash tourney in Silver Spring.
Of course we want to avoid Being Snuffed Out by Chu or some other Random pro....

Its Just a thought But If Possible We REALLY Want to Make this happen.

SO Any Ideas anyone?


BTW Even if we hold it at a High School, ALL Ages would be Invited (Except 179 year old people)


EDIT: OK It's HIGHLY likely that we are gonna do this. All we need to do is secure the venue!
EVERYONE is Invited. As Far as the REALLY good people...Personal Invites WILL Be sent around September....This Includes any MD/VA crews we can get and such.

We are Probably going to do MLG format but our 1st established Rule for Gameplay is:

NO WOBBLING probably in Singles

Well the Final Smash should cost $5 for the tournament fee for singles and Doubles should $5 each and last we should have three man battle for $2.50. Just a thought for the final smash.

Hey! Don't be hating on the Triple death match! It boost your thinking skill and helps plan you next move if you do get jump (only the weak jump the strong).

Uhm The Bus lolz Hrm I dunno That sounds like a good Idea However I cant drive MAYBE I can try to see if there is a way otherwise I could meet you there and give you $1.25 But for that I'd Need a list of people WHo would need it so I could have youe $$$ ready.

If you do that I'll make sure to mention this tourney to NYC people, PA people, Ohio people etc. FYI by august there might be some pretty good space animals living in MD that didn't live here before. Either way I'll be there to win it.

Don't bother with offering people food. I think its better to let people fend for themselves, as some are picky eaters, etc. It's not worth the stress that comes with it, you'll end up trying to please everyone and end up pleasing nobody.

Yes On a Weekend Near Thanksgiving and What would be the point in holding a Tourney For Brawl When People arent up to their Fullest?

The Point of This Tourney is For Every Basically to go ALL OUT in a Final Bang For Melee WHich Means We want to Record and stuff of the sort. BTW thats Free.
