Plan Out Your SSE2!

As we all know, Subspace Emissary won't be coming back.

BUT, if Sakurai chose YOU to plan out the SSE sequel, what would you do?

If sakurai was crazy enough to appoint me to plan sse2 I would simply say
"Sakurai you're working too hard, you're scaring me and the other workers; go home."

Then sakurai would b****slap me, because I disappointed master.

Pikachu and Kirby enter a stage, they fight. Then whoever wins, well wins.

Out of the sky, WHAT IS THAT, IS THAT....NO, IT CAN'T BE. RIDLEY!
Ridley flies down, picks up Pikachu and eats him, then throw kirby into a magma pit.
Ridley is the main hero in this game.
Through out the game, Ridley (who is you) has to find the evils of the world (Mario, Peach, Link, Olimar and Ness) and kill them.
At the end of it all, Ridley comes face to face with samus, slaps her, and she dies.

The end.

Might as well give this a shot.

-More character interaction and a more compelling story, as in cut-scenes and exposition won't just be the characters silently making gestures and actions towards eachother, and they'll probably have voice acting.
-Gameplay that isn't just a blander Kirby game. Levels will be based off of areas from other Nintendo franchises, same with the enemies.
-Have the big bad be a group of Nintendo villains, and not the M. Night Shyamalan twist that was Tabuu.

I would come up with some other things but my brain is borked.

In all honesty most of what chucklehead said.

Bowser/Ganondorf/Jigglypuff/Ridley/Mewtwo will be the villians along the way i see Mewtwo braking away and leaving to be alone (other villains poisoning his mind to do bad deeds) but eventually joining the heros because its the pure thing to do.

And then yh....u know...

Crazy Hand is the main antagonist. He is powered up with the power of smash balls. Levels take place in actual nintendo locations and universes.

I'd make it more like the actual character trailers, where the characters are actually invited to participate in the great 'Smash Brothers' tournament from their respective universes (Well, Mario, DK and Metroid are on the same universe, but you get my point!) through letters, like on the Villager trailer, and once they arrive at the tournament, they notice that the usual Master Hand's replaced with Crazy Hand, and all the Nintendo villains are teaming up with Crazy hand to conquer the Nintendo (And SEGA, and Konami, and Capcom, etc.) worlds. The characters go through relevant locations taken from their respective games, from the Mushroom Kingdom to DK Island (Including Sunset Shores) to Green Hill Zone, to Planet Zebes, to Wily's Castle, etc.

As the story goes on, Crazy Hand's true intentions are revealed (Destroying all of the Nintendo Worlds, since he's the god of destruction) and the various Nintendo villains start to realize this as they're defeated, reluctantly joining the team of heroes to save the entire Nintendo multiverse from a destructive, enraged, unstable Crazy Hand. Really, Crazy Hand always seemed like the perfect Smash villain, as Master Hand's the god of creation, he's the god of destruction, so it only makes sense that both of them would clash on a good vs. evil showdown...of course I'd have Crazy Hand going one-winged angel during the last fight and somehow controlling Master Hand to form a dark being, maybe just a pair of glowing, monstrous eyes and a black figure with both hands attacking you (We all know how much Sakurai loves his disembodied-hands bosses).

Maybe Crazy Hand doing something like Dimentio and absorbing Master Hand so he can become some sort of super-powerful being called the GrandMaster or something like that? I'd like that, and it'd finally link the Nintendo universes, not the Trophy bull****, which was the only part I didn't like about SSE.

Each character would have their own stage designed entirely around their abilities, and they could be played in any order. So, you could select Jigglypuff and be sent into a stage with distantly floating platforms that will take every puff and pound to reach, like that last platform in her Board the Platforms. Or a Captain Falcon stage where you have to dash at full speed to make it through crushers. Samus's level could end with a self-destruct sequence, and Olimar could have cycling day/night segments where he has to get to safety at night.

As far as cutscenes, I suppose every character would have an intro and ending sequence. I don't think every character's scenario would have to share a narrative; some could conflict with each other, since canon matters little to Smash anyway.

(My real answer is I wouldn't bring it back at all, but that's not a fun answer!)
