Placing Bridge of Eldin over a different stage slot

I want to place Bridge of Eldin on one of my STGCUSTOM slots when using the stage expansion, but it results in some issues. There is no sound from the hazards, and the twilight effect upon restoring the bridge is invisible. Is there any way to fix either issue?

Sounds will not transfer over to another slot; they're tied to the original.

I kind of knew that was the case, but I was hoping someone would explain the reason for that. I was surprised to see the lack of visual effects in the stage, though.
