PkT2 is a deadly weapon for us ness players. Some of us just use it as recovery but it can be so much more. The timing and the anticipation for every person you play is difficult to figure out.

In the beginning of every match i try to get the other player to see that i will use PkT2 constantly so they will put their shields up everytime i let a PK thunder goes. Best thing to do is dont always try to hit them with it. Play around with the thunder and toy with them. They will hink they have a free shot at you then quickl zap them and try to get a Pk fire in there. Also when there in the pillar for Pk Fire dont be afraid to take shot at them qith PKT2 so that theyll defend for it next time and u can get a grab in.

When you throw them one way follow them and see if there going straight down or guna go a different way. PK thunder and if they are close enough send it back to you and make them fly. ill try to ask simna if hell post videos of me and him because we both incorporae PkT2 into our games alot. Thnx for listening hopefully this taught you something new im usuall free to play so just drop me a PM or im me at Ninerslaw99 so we can share strats. If simna can come in here and explain how he uses his Pkt2 it would also be appreciated.

TSS never worked so well *sniff*
The tail's length has increased SOO much. Its wonderful!

On another note, a fun way to gimp Lucas' recovery is screw his PKT with ur own
Your speedy PKT will outmatch his. Just cool and fun to do.

Nonessnoproblem, that wan't useful at all. You basically said "I use PKT2 in an easy to punish way so that people will get used to punishing it" and passed that off as a good idea.

Use PKT1 far more often, and then catch them off guard with the PKT2 when you're able to kill with it. That way, you're not leaving yourself open to whatever the opponent's strongest move is during your lag from the PKT2, and instead, you're actively protecting yourself with a rather fast projectile.

Also, If you're using PKT1, keep it low to the ground and snake it up and down just a little as you send it at them. The snaking will help you react to their movement, and if it's close to the ground, you can always ground the bolt, and get ready to defend yourself.

Try to aim for a tailwhip. If they're moving towards the bolt, steer it away at the last second and circle it around. The tail actually is long enough to combo into the bolt if you keep the circle tight enough.

Make sure that you're using PKT against the right opponents. IE, if they have projectiles, they aren't the right opponent. Ness gets out-camped really easily.

When you are using PKT, make sure you're at a safe range. Next to a marth = not safe. Far away from a marth = slightly less not safe.

Then again, if you space it right, you can use PKT right next to someone(literally touching them) they'll get zapped by the tail, and you can guide it into yourself and there is 100% nothing they can do about it.

I'll have to try doing it while close to the opponent

It has the most priority in the game when it's at full "explosion" power
When it zaps you, its priority drops.
I checked, it's equal to the Falcon/Wizard punch, Lucas' Usmash, and the Golden Hammer
(although the Hammer thing is completely useless, you'll cancel one hit and get killed by the next)
It goes through all air attacks i think. Marth's Fair might cancel it. grr.
Will the bat or the stick go through it? the timing is just too dang hard for me.
(....So if you execute it, the opponent can't stop it.)

yah, i know, i was wondering what exactly it can go through.
It has the highest priority in the game, but a lot of things seem to equal it.
Lucas' PKT2 will go through Ness' at the end, when it has a shock hitbox.
It stays high damage at about the range of a Falcon Punch, seems like it was meant to do basically the same thing (but with tailwhip stun!)

I'm wondering if Ness' bat will register Ness as a "projectile". I know the shine is a poor choice (lol) but if the bat goes through Toad, it can do anything.
