PK Thunder can be gimped?

I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but Lucario's Aura Sphere can apparently cancel Lucas' PK Thunder. Not the most effective gimp trick, but I thought I should let ya'll know.

At normal damage or what? Or when Lucario has his Aura all the way up to x2?

Almost any attack is high enough priority to cancel the PKT, so the aura sphere is not special. Just watch yourself and try not to recover w/ PKT when somebody's close or if you're at a level angle w/ the stage that has an opponent w/ a projectile on it.

Okay. I haven't gotten into a situation where someone has the opportunity to shoot my PKT yet so when the CPU Lucario hit it with an uncharged Aura Sphere (at around 70%) it was kind of a shock.

I'll remember that from now on, Levitas. Thanks for the heads up.

Any projectile can absorb your PKT and gimp you, the most annoying being Mario's fireballs, Link and TL's bomb/boomerangs, Sheik's needles when they don't hit you, and PKT (lol)

I have also had it happen against sonic. The guy I was playing jumped above me when I was recovering and did his up B, sending a spring down towards me. When I tried PKT, it just hit the spring and Lucas plummeted to his untimely death XD.

In any case, Lucas' recovery is quite good. I don't think people would be chasing you to stop the PKT if you were far enough away. Good to know, however. I'm used to treating his PKT as "absolutely infallible."
