Ok, I followed the Guide to setting everything up, but there is one major issue.

When I go to join a game, the game starts, but then my controls don't work. Regardless what they are set to. Only the other person can move.

Then, if I host, I am the only one who can move.

Does anyone know what is wrong?

I think you may have changed the input plugin from the default. Therefore, the controls are only set for that plugin.

This means that when you join someone else's game, your emulator is told to open the default plugin, which is not configured for you. When you create a game, their emulator is told to use the same input plugin as yours, which is not configured.

To solve: Use the default plugin.

(I hope it's this, at least.)

Alright, I got that working...

But now I am having problems during matches. It keeps disconnecting, for no reason. Saying "Connection Lost".

Any ideas?

Uhhh.... Are you playing at full screen? Try playing in windowed screen.

But I dunno, I never had that problem.

No. It doesn't. Torrent Speeds @ 400+ thank you very much.

Also, I got it working...I mean, well does time of day have anything to do with it? Or length of time played? See, yesterday I had been playing for like 2 hours, and it was later at night...

torrent speed only goes up as much as there are seeders and leechers
I dont see how that has anything to do with the current situation
besides, running pk64 online isn't the same as torrent
your connection/isp probably isn't accepting/receiving the correct amount of packets to and from the server, therefore, you lose connection frequently

So you're saying someone with Dial-Up would download torrents at the same speed of some with High-Speed?

I think not.

kay, guy, you like arguing, go ahead
I guess you just dont want to be helped.

I guess you're too proud of your connection to admit that it might just suck.

I'm not arguing, just stating that torrent speed does depend on connection (as well as seeders/leachers).

And it works fine now, so mods can close this...or something. >_>
