PJ64K Graphics Problem

So I've been running SSB off of a regular PJ64 emulator for a while now, but recently found out about the online and PJ64K. Problem is, I'm having issues with the graphics. Yes, it is the shield/Samus charge/etc problems. I've looked for some answers already on the board, mostly found problems regarding Direct3D plugins. I'm using Direct3D7, perhaps switching to 8 will fix it? Any thoughts? And if switching to Direct3D8 is all I need, can someone link me to a download?

Transplant it from your regular PJ64 1.6.

Just rename it to the file name of Direct3D7 and put it in your plugin folder, but maybe backup 3D7 first.

swirching to 3d8 will solve it. i would also recommend glide which is more resource heavy, but can also show invincibility frames and the such.
