Hey guys ^_^ I am a new player (about 3 months) and I'm improving pretty fast I think, thanks to some friends I found on the netplay IIRC. One thing I am not sure about how to do though, and I looked around but found nothing super specific. How do I effectively pivot grab while chaingrabbing spacies? Because when I watch M2K pivot grab it just blows my mind and I don't know how he does it. Thanks in advance to anyone's help, also sorry if this is clearly answered anywhere I will take down the thread if it is :D

You know.. reading this over again I kind of sound like an annoying new player... seeking for an easy way to do something without practice. I'm just practising the **** out of this, also I guess I didn't know how to do i apparently lol. Because i thought it was hitting grab in the one frame marth stands up during the pivot, but after finding this video ("Marth Trials" by Jasson Ripple on youtube) I understand that its actually jump cancelling the grab. So what I'm going to do is just practice it lol.

I'll put in my two cents, although it might not be the most helpful. So for chain grabbing fox (not sure on Falco), you can't pivot grab immediately when chain grabbing (just in case you didn't know). It's from around 16-33% when you have to pivot grab if they don't DI at all, or your grab will miss. As for pivoting itself, you can do it both too early and too late, so it's basically just a matter of learning the timing. Some advice I have would be that the dash pivot has to be as short as possible. Basically when I do it it's essentially flicking the control stick left then right or vice versa. But yeah, just try to make the pivot occupy as little horizontal space as possible.
