I have had difficulty finding frame data for this. I have always WD back but you can't fsmash until the WD is over. It's a little slow. I was experiencing with pivot fmsash and I got some good spacing with it and speed. It seems faster. What do you guys think about this?

Pivot Fmash is definitely faster and you're still able to use it to avoid an attack and hit it. It's definitely harder to perform than a wavedash back Fmash, but if you practice and get it down consistent, I think it is definitely a better option. Just like with anything though. mix-ups are always a good idea.

There's no doubt in my mind that the pivot is faster, but you'll definitely have to practice. TBH, though, it only took me like 10 mins to get near 100% pivot fsmash success rate with my Marth. It's nowhere near as difficult as it sounds even though it's technically a 1-frame reaction

It's not a 1-frame reaction, it'd be more accurate to call it a 1-frame link. You're not reacting to anything, it's a well defined timing.

I do, I know what you mean, and I'm being kind of pedantic here but I think it's somewhat important because strictly speaking, a 1 frame reaction is impossible, but a 1 frame timing is just difficult.

Nah, you're good. I just kinda considered it a 1-frame reaction because you've got a 1-frame window in which the pivot _____ is possible. You're totally right though.
