Welcome to the Pittsburgh value tournament--just a buck! Why? Because

IT'S NOT FUNNY WHEN IT'S FOR MONEY​

When: Saturday, February 13, 12-8
Where: Carnegie Mellon campus, West Wing TV Room.
5000 Forbes Ave., Pittsburgh PA 15213
You can pay to park at P7. P12 is free after 4. I believe Beeler Street is free to park on.

Schedule:
12:00 - People arrive, registration for singles
1:00 - Singles tourney
~4:00 (whenever singles ends) break, registration for teams
~4:30 Teams tourney
~6:30 much fun free play and side events
11:30 It's over!

Players must leave by 11:45.

If time permits, we can do a free side event of crews or falcon-only tourney or what have you. Let me hear what you want.

Equipment:
We've got 5 TVs at the moment.
If 2 or 3 people can bring TVs, we'll be golden.
And bring systems and games.
Please post what you can bring.

Rules

•4 stock
•2/3 sets
•3/5 finals
•7 minute time limit
•Items off
•Ties broken by lives, then %
•Double Blind character pick can be called at anytime.
•Stage Knock Out: Each person may choose one stage to be disabled for the entire set, it must be chosen at the beginning of the set, after initial characters are chosen.
•Advanced Slob Picks: Loser may choose the next stage or select to go random. The winner may then change their character, followed by the loser.
•Bring your own controller
•Controller Mods, Glitches (IC Freeze Glitch, Mewtwo Soul Stunner, etc) are banned.
•Team Attack will be ON
•Life stealing allowed

I go to Pitt. I'm nowhere near tourney skill level, but I'll probably do this for ****s and giggles with some friends since I live down the street and the entry fee is only $1

@Shuffla: That's fine. I just know last time 1 or 2 TVs just appeared from various people. Only bring one if it's feasible to do so.

Good news, everyone.

We can use the room until 11:30. Plenty of time for side events (low tiers if Aaron gets his way XD), and 11 hours of smash for those who are strong enough.

I skipped out on Vermillion last week for the LAN party, so I'm going to be heading there as soon as the main tournament is over. But you bet I'll be at the tournament.
