PIOUS and other Eternal Darkness chars in SSBB

One of those characters that maybe you haven't thought. Eternal Darkness its a fine horror game that is exclusive for Nintendo. It has the the best story ever and an incredible battle style. The game was developed by Silicon Knights, but I think the rights of the game belong to Nintendo now.
Instead of suggesting the supposed heroine, Alex (which would be a bit boring and looks a lot to Zero Suit Samus); I want to suggest Pious Augustus, the main villain and servant of the Ancients. He could have a moveset based on Rune magick like this:

Bdown-Damage Field, creates a small force field around Pious which damages anyone who touches it (except Pious). The force field stays in the spot it was created, it disappears after a while and you can't create another if there is one already at the stage.

Bup-Teleport; he teleports in the last battle, so I guess It would be OK.

Bforward/backward-Magickal Attack; a bolt which goes forward. If you charge it, Pious adds more runes to the spell and it becomes more powerful.

Bneutral-Summon- Pious would summon a random creature(these creature would work like Goomba, Redead, Topi, etc.) to attack the opponents. It could be:
Trapper: Goes fast, but attacks are weak.
Zombie: Goes slower, attacks do more damage.
Horror: Goes very slow, but attacks are pretty strong and have great knockback.

Most of his A attacks would be related to his staff.

Taunt-"Fool! I spit on thee!"*Spits to the floor*

Hmmm...... I dunno. Eternal Darkness is a Nintendo exclusive and I'm guessing it was popular but but there be low chances for any character there to be in Brawl.

Pious would be a great addition, He belongs to Nintendo, he is rater unique compared to the other fighters, he is probably the coolest villain in videogame history (just bested by Pokey Minch) an he would balance all the Japanese characters (it would be nice to have at least some American created characters)

Besides, when Nintendo splited ways with silicon Knights, it was Nintendo who kept all the rights to Eternal Darkness, so they better use it somehow

I loved Eternal Darkness, and I'm all for the idea, but I wouldn't want Pious. I'd be more for Ellia or Alex, which would also fill in the gap for lack of female characters.

Then again, Alex and Zero Suit Samus would look so much alike (the hair.)

It's not a very high chance at all, but I think it could be a cool surprise to see an Eternal Darkness character in Brawl.

I didnt want to make a new thread, but I really want to see Pious Agustus in this (would have the ability to change to his evil counter part as well). He is exclusively for Nintendo, and would be a totally unique character and Im sure has his own fanbase somewhere. His regular self would fight much like Roy (not fast like Marth, but hella powerful), and his evil version would be somewhat like Zelda/Mewtwo. Im not saying he should be a clone, but his general moveset should be somewhat like those characters.

Silicon Knights is a Canadian company, but I see what your saying.

Anywahy, I didn't think Eternal Darkness whas all that great, but Pious was awesome and I can totaly see him as a Brawler. Doesn't Nintendo own all rights to the characters in the game? They do for Golden Sun, which means Isaac still has a chance for Brawl!

Well, considering the fact that Silicon Knights have sold their souls to Microsoft, I have serious doubts about this one... Though if Nintendo DID in fact retain the rights (mind providing a link?), it just might happen... As far as the idea itself, I'm all for it - Pious was indeed a cool villian.

i dont have any link.. but in the ending credits of the game it says that nintendo have all the rights of eternal darkness (if i knew how to capture screenshoots in a gemcube, i would do it ¬¬)

PS, I liked a lot your b moveset XD it,s a lot like i've thinked it (teleport, damage field, magical attack and summon, but the summon and magical attack are switched XD)

I've said it before and I'll say it again: nothing would be more awesome than eternal darkness characters in brawl.

Sadly, I just don't think it's too likely.
