Pikachu doesn't create a a ball of a condensed electric storm The little rat becomes one!
This is also too hard. In mario/link 's Finale smash they just have grab a smashball and stay in place(those lazy *******s). for pikachu, However, it has to chase the enemies! That is why Pika looks so skinny(and sexy). A good choice Sakurai should have done is Pika in a movable turret shhoting everyone.

What do you think?

I think his finale is fine I think it looks really really amazing since all the graphics on this game are amazing. But yeah we all know docs and peach's will be the best ;)

Actualy, I think Pikachu's Final is overpowered.

You can be at the very bottom of the stage and suddenly go all ElectroBall of doom, come back to the stage beat the crap out of the foe, and save yourself.

So its even I think.

Pika's final smash may not be as good (depending on how hard he hits. It might be better for killing). However, I think it's cooler than the others, as there's actually some skilled playing involved instead of just starting the move and sitting there watching.

This thread's definitely going to get locked.

First off, it's Link's final, not Zelda's.
Second, there are lots of disadvantages and advantages to all three released finals, and we don't even know how they work yet. Assuming Pika's final sucks is quite wrong, since it could probably be used as a recovery (which is more than enough), not to mention you have control over it, and it probably deals a lot of damage. It also has a wide range, thus making it hard for enemies to run away.

Yea its too early to say it sucks or not. We still have no idea how long it lasts or what kind of damage and knockback getting hit by it causes. For all we know getting hit by it could mean instant death.

Either way his final smash seems like the most fun so far. Chasing people around sounds like fun.

I thought you had to move Link and connect him with an opponent to start slashing? I´m probably wrong.

What I really want to know is whether a Final Smash activates as soon as you grab the Smash Ball or you can activate it whenever you want afterward. (Obviously, you´d lose it if you got KOed.) The latter option would be much nicer.

It seems that all Final Smashes will be much more useful in close quarters, though. This is especially true for Link, but if Pikachu´s Volt Tackle moves as slow as I think it does, then everyone would manage to get away in a place like Hyrule Temple.

Anyway, I like Pikachu´s Final Smash. It´s a break for stand-there-and-do-mass-damage structure, even if only somewhat. Hopefully Final Smashes will be even more varied than that among other characters.

I guess you're not called pikachun00b for no reason.
that was the most nubbish post I've read in a while...
by all means, Peach's FS should suck, since she's a helpless princess who gets kidnapped by b00zer every 3rd weekend.
anyhoot, I'm rooting for an aweomkse pwnage from Dr. Mario.

@fools who think he's not returning:
give up. you don't want to admit he will return as a representative of his unique series. (unless he gets replaced by TETRIS piece)

okay, the edit thing is screwed up. please forgive me.

I recall the site saying something about Pika's FS moving AT HIGH SPEEDS?
(It flies through the air wildly, so try not to lose control)

Pikachu's FS is better than Link's because:
1. Link's hurts one person. Pika's can hurt them all
2. Link is slow. you could probably easily avoid his dash-to-shanghai
3. Pikachu's is fast. therefore, you could come back for more if one shot didn't cut it.

Pikachu's FS is better than Mario's because:
1. same as #3 for Lnik's
2. Mario's doesn't look like KO material, just damage racking stuff
3. Pikachu's seems like a bludgeoning device similar to Ness' PK thunder in SSB64 (when you hit yourself), but more powerful

so there.

Doc is not coming back, Tera (yes, I know it's you). I thought you were banned?

As for saying Pikachu's final sucks, we can't positively tell anything until we have the final version of the game resting in our Wiis.

I like Pikachu's BACON, what i wonder is how it will be controlled, if its like his quick attack then I wouldn't worry about it too much. If it had free control that'd be really cool... I hope it has free control so you can hunt everyone down like Sakurai instructed us to do

Pikachus final is WAY useful one small stages like battle field, and on foxs stage, there no where to run, and it would be extremely hard to avoid...

that is where me and you differ.
as far as Tera goes, after she was banned, there was a little sibling rivalry going on between me and her, and so I joined this site to spite her, and learned that I liked it. I yes, I am actually related to her, and yes she really does have a brother: me.
anyway, Doc is returning, and Master Chief is gay.

Doc's my co-main, since he wasn't in SSB64 like Pikachu was. the reason I say co-main is because I believe my Doc skills have surpassed my Pika skills in recent years (months)

as far as Pika's special goes, it looks highly manuverable--in fact, TOO manuverable.

it seems like people are assuming that grabbing the smash ball means an automatic hit (especially for link). we don't know that.

i agree. the percentage that you will hit your enemy is directly related to your skill level. if you are a total ****** and fly off the wrong way with pikachu's FS, you're probably not hitting anyone and ending up dead
i wonder what number warning this will be?

Anyways, Pikanoob, that's complete nonsense. Pikachu's BACON is the best one we've seen so far. It's fast, does a lot of damage, and they had to balance it by lowering the controllability.

I know what you people are saying about its uber-speed... but I will envy a mario-brawler who just laughs as he rakes up the damage on us. Whilst I, pikanoob, must hurt my only left thumb moving the anologue stick. I know that we don't have the information to accurately make a conclusion on these things. BUT with the information on the smash DOJO it hints the quality of the finale smash.

Yes it has some pros which DOES balance this, but the discussion in the cons. What if the pikaball is hard to control? Suicide.

Dr. Mario returning.... HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Noob... Th only reason you gave was he was your co-main... which isn't even a reason. He's my main, and i konw he's not making it in, nor do i want him in.

Besides, Peach (even though i hate tiers) is high up on the tier... she owns...

1. Link's hurts one person.
Don't you read Sakurai's posts?

Even if it is hard to control, I'm willing to bet (as many have already stated before) it's most likely to balance the power of the move. Let's look at a hypothetical situation, given the little we know:

Mario's final smash is the uber fireballs. Easy to use, wide coverage--just position and unleash the pain. However, to compensate for this, it's not really going to KO anyone...just rack up the damage. Mario also stays stationary as well, leaving himself vulnerable to anyone he doesn't catch in the blast.

Pikachu's Volt Tackle, hypothetically, is very strong--probably has very high damage, knockback and KO potential. And, as Sakurai said, it's also very quick. The drawback? It takes finesse to use, as opposed to just unleashing a wave of doom.

Point being, I agree with most of the posters in that it won't suck.

I think you should work on your grammar and spelling.

Jokes aside, Pikachus finale smash move is lame compared to the others we've seen. At least with Link, your guaranteed to hit someone, and with Mario's, it spans across the stage.
Apparently, from what i can see, Pikachu has the potential to die after using the move, as well as the potential to not hit anyone at all. =/

Actually, Link's has the least chance to hit someone so far.
