I've had this video of Pikachu vs. Jigglypuff saved on my Wii for a long time, and I figured it's high time I showed it to people. I play games against computers sometimes, since I can't bring over an offline opponent every time I want to play Brawl. And online is laggy. So I played a CPU Jigglypuff on Corneria, and on her last stock, she roll-dodged into me as I was thundering. Three quarters of the way through her roll, she got struck by lighting. She took standard knockback, but Thunder gave her 42% damage! Try as I might, I can neither duplicate nor understand this phenomenon. And, frankly, I'm getting sick of watching two and a half minutes of me playing badly over and over again, just to see a second of consequential video. So I was hoping that I could send this video to someone else's Wii (that's possible, right?), so that they could record the replay using their own methods, and post it on the internet. This would allow people to see the video, and to more easily play the interesting part over and over again. If this move can be figured out, it would be greatly appreciated, because a 42% thunder just might be useful. As long as it's not too situational... So would someone with a decent quality recorder be able to upload this for me? I'll send the required information to the person who does.
Some notable details: we were on the slope of the Great Fox's tail, almost at the top. She spot-dodged right before she rolled. Jigglypuff took multiple hits from this one Thunder. I counted four, but I'm probably wrong.
I've seen Muhznit's thread regarding a high damage thunder, but as far as I can tell, these two techniques are not the same.
