Pikachu?

Since everybody doesn't like facing Kirby so much in super smash 64, we need a topic of
explaining why Pikachu is such an "Annoying" character.

I don't see anything wrong with "kirby", because Pikachu is overall better.

They say Pikachu is the best character and I do believe that.

We all discuss how Kirby is really annoying but isn't pikachu the top tier?

Wouldn't Pikachu be top tier because of those "overpowered " Aerials?

Pikachu can destroy kirby and all the other characters the most. Plus doesn't pikachu have the only really good recovery in the game..?

So how comes pikachu is not the most discussed about character..?

The fact that Kirby is annoying doesnt mean hes the most annoying... Pikachu is, of course.
Pikachu has:
-Too good aerial moves
-Too good recovery
-Too good edgeguarding
-Very good priority
-Broken tail
...

The only bad Pikachu things are:
-He dies at low %
-He hasnt a spike

Pikachu is better than Kirby in everything besides the spike. Hes very hard to hit aswell, I really hate playing good pikachus.

pikachu is easy to edge guard with, recover and juggle with, but to take pikachu further then that isn't easy...

Pikachu isnt hated because how often does a "pika noob" get...Usmash-->2 u tilit--> Nair--> Uairx2/ Bair"?
Kirby is hated because how often does a "kirby noob" get..."Utilt x3--> Dair --Fsmash" x30 ?

Both are devastating combos, but one seems harder...just to me anyways ;D

True but its fun to face a kirby with that strategy with falcon. If you get hit you're dead much like falcon dittos, falcon vs yoshi, since falcon is easy to combo.

But the priority of constant dair and utilt and smashes is devestating with even 60% good techchasing (Techchasing is so essential to getting kills)

So its fun to try to find a way around it and see how to win.

Kirby is 10000x times easier to edgeguard than pikachu who has more options than jump jump jump obvious predictable sword attack.

Like peek said the gimping possibilities with pikachu are so easy. Backthrow to any aerials off the stage are a very good edgeguard possibility.

Pikachu with good DI is hard to combo with capt. falcon.

yes but i was answering why kirby is hated and NOT pikachu, its simply because people dont like getting beat when its really easy to do, it frustrates people....i know from personal experience when facing MATTS! i cant seem to Tech when i get Daired (EGX Delay i say is to blame) and the damage that comes from that is crazy :o

Pikachu isn't an anoying character imo because when you someone comboing you to death or watever you think ''Atleast he knoes what he's doing''

And when you get spiked or up tilted by kirby you think ''I hate kirby...Next matchup!''

Yes i agree. I think kirby is the easiest to play and combo with in the whole game. Pikachu on the other hand takes a while to get used to.. but after practice is actually almost easy to use.. that doesnt make him impossible to beat especially since you cant really spike with pika. but that is really it.

Falcon on the other hand is very hard to beat and should be the highest teir char since he is easy to get used to and not that hard to do 0-Death combos with.

Two things:

One, irrational dsilike of Kirby just because his moveset and the way he combos/kills you is SO obnoxious.

Two, the legitimate fact that playing smart vs a smart kirby makes the game really campy on both sides, while playing vs a pikachu at least keeps the game somewhat dynamic.

However, Pikachu is pretty far up there on the gayness tier list after kirby. He's probably tied with falcon for second.
