Pikachu Alts

Hey guys, I wanna know who is a good alt when maining Pikachu. I've wondered about Olimar but I'm also decent with Lucario... I've been told that alts should share a similar play style as your main, but you also need to consider your mains weaknesses. Regardless, I'd like some input from you all! Who do you alt with Pikachu?

Alt's that share a similar style to your main are easier to pick up in general, but personally I think the best alternate is one that counterpicks as many characters as possible that you have trouble facing as Pikachu.

To be honest I'm not sure of what characters counterpick most of Pika's trouble-some matchups since Pika is actually my alternate =S

I just second Ice Climbers, because they're fun :3

I could care less of all this "counter pick, play style" stuff. Ice Climbers are fun to me. =]

I wish I could play Ice Climbers, I just can't master all their chain grabs. The only ones I know are the popo Dthrow chain and the popo Dthrow to nana Fair repeat chain.

they have some crazy grab combo's. of course they can infinite but you can grab into upsmash which is unblockable and what not. you should watch some vids on the IC boards. they are sick.

I've done extensive research into the chain grabs they can do. Have you seen my ice climbers animation? Look on the first post in my shop. I consider it my best animation to date.

thanks. I watched vids carefully while doing it and tried to make it as accurate and non-laggy as possible. (And succeeded)

So then... That would mean your main would be a good alt for Pika. Lucario as a good alt then.
