Picking up Falco as a main

So I'm coming back to competetive smash(or joining since I was never really that good) and was looking at Falco as a main. What do you recommend working on first and as a second question, who makes a good secondary to shore up weaknesses of Falco. I've been going to a store where juke has been playing magic lately so I've been able to get in some practice with him as well when I've had the time.

That said, I don't think people to practice with is as much an issue as what to practice.
