Pick Pockets - Ninjas: leveling up

when I started a character on this RPG I picked the pick pocket occupation, cause I love ninjas! but I quickly discovered that they get almost no experience at all! cause experience is mainly based on getting hit, instead of beating the enemy....well, I was fooling around, trying to fight some other, stronger, enemies after leveling up once or twice, but I was easily reduced to a low amount of HP....I didn't want to waste money on healing/buying potions, cause I knew that anode couldn't hit me anyway, so I just went to fight her....to my surprise I gained 82 experience points! 82!! using my incredible deductive skill I reasoned it was because I was reduced to a low amount of HP by broken...I then tried again, and it was exactly that.

so now I am at level 4 (or 5) <_< and I've been using this method to gain a great deal more exp than I normally get. I've detailed the method in the following picture guide

obviously go in order, they are BMP so open one at a time (or not)...I think I give a pretty good explanation of what to do/not do...if you have more questions just ask (though I'm no expert on this)



Also, upon leveling up, do not immediately use your skill points, as increasing your stats may or may not result in getting less exp. Also, I did not note this in the picture guide, but when fighting broken (or whatever the enemy is that you will use to reduce your HP) you should find out what his max damage is...for me it is around 120-130 so I only give myself 140 HP so that he can reduce me to 20-40 with a strong hit, and below 100 with any weaker one

i recomend this technique if you dont mind the ten loses every day.

another option pick pockets have is to try and unequip some items, change item upgrades, and fight lower level bots so that they do damage to you, but you can still beat em.

Yes, try and lower your evasion, it may help you win battles but its hurting you in the longshot. Try Unequiping the synthesis with evasion. Add your upgrade points into defense or strength.


PS. I get 200+ Exp per battle fighting broken,- Easily

k thanks, I am not strong enoug to beat broken yet, and this is a method for getting more experience when you hardly get any at all. if you were to, at some point, be able to beat broken without getting hit, so you only get a small amout of exp, but say, you can't beat loki, you could fight loki to lower your hp then fight broken and get more exp for it....that way you gain levels faster.


I'm not saying this is the only/best way to train as a pick pocket or something<_<

I acn almost kill broken, just need to increase my att and def a bit, but mainly my def.

wait... so you should fight something to get hurt a bit (running away if need be), then pummel the next 10 matches on something you can take and you get better xp than if you were to that that thing you can take at full hp?

you fight someone who will reduce your HP to near death, surrender, then, without healing, fight someone who cannot hit you, this will result in getting more experience, if someone has time could they try using a potion in the second fight, I think that might get you more exp as well (not really sure)

Just try to reduce your evasion stats as much as you can. Evasion does nothing but hurt you. It will help with battling other people but not with leveling up. Basically become a diviner, just without the level evolution requirements.

exactaly. evasion will help you beat your friends, but wont get you any exp against bots.
