A simple title and a simple thread. This is to discuss ideas on how to make Pichu a better character for a return in Project M.
I'm expecting a lot of flaming possibly on this one, but from watching Project M grow for quite some time now and having loved to play Pichu even with all the faults in Melee, I want to see what people may really think they could do for Pichu in Project M as a character.
To those who would say "we don't need some Pikachu clone" I will say this: Pichu is similar to Pikachu in a lot of ways but is played MUCH differently. Pichu is extremely unique, such a small size, moves with so little lag, and a cool air and edge guarding game, and even the fact that Pichu hurts itself make Pichu something special, and I think with the brilliant people here on Smashboards and the awesome people working on Project M could come together and create some amazing ideas to make Pichu have an awesome comeback without feeling like a lame clone.
I'll leave this here and see what kind of response it gets. I have some of my own ideas, but I'd like to see what others may think of first. Let's see what we could do to make Pichu a worthy addition to Project M.
