I have been playing and finding interesting smash 4 oddities.

From the 14 Year old that brought you Platform Surfing::

PHANTOM CONNECT
A brand new tech, that makes you rage a lot in frustration.
All you have to do is hit the model, but not the actual hurtbox!

Yes, I know about Phantom Rests, but this actually doesnt hurt the enemy at all. It simply shows the animation for hitting them.

Phantom Hits existed even in Melee. In Melee, a Phantom Hit would deal half damage with no knockback or hitstun. (And thus, Peach's DSmash was made even more damaging!) In Brawl, they behaved exactly as they do in Smash 4.
