NOODLES! Now someone make me a PMBR Dev!I don't think any of the devs are going to say anything before release either.
In short no, you won't be able to add additional costume slots by default. To add more slots you would need to use cBliss instead, which may not account for changes we've made such as team color changes, team color support, and the additional aesthetic coding like Doctor Mario's pills or Shadow Peach's darkness effects. It's more a matter of our high standard for quality - we don't want to just fill up all the slots with any old texture. And if we don't put something in the slot the game will crash when you try to access it. Therefore, we only enable slots when we have something to put in them - and our art team HAS been working at a feverish pace to complete as many high quality new models as they can.
So wait, does this mean we can use cBliss tool for characters without Alt Costumes? Or does ACE totally break cBliss?I answered some of this in another thread.

I'm sure once we release, someone will be try to reverse engineer our stuff or make a 3.0 compatible cBliss, but that will ultimately be up to the community.
Yeah this is pretty much what I was asking about. Hope it works with 3.0!I suggest using m22k's cbliss program and targeting only characters who aren't getting the pm 3.0 treatment. Even then though, there could still be issues.
