What's up, Smashers? I've customized my Project M controls to a very (in my opinion) personalized level, and was wondering if there are any other players that have personalized their controls far from the base setup. So, what are your setups like? And fro what reason/benefit does it give you in-game? I'll start with mine.

I use a Fight Pad (main difference is that there are two shoulder buttons ('Z' buttons), and my setup is;
Right Shoulder Button (Z button) changed from a shield to a Jump button because it makes wavedashing 10x easier, while leaving my thumb free for whatever situation.
Right Trigger (ZL) switched to shield, because convenience lmfao.
Left Trigger (ZR) switched to Attack, for pivot Smashes (mainly for Smash 4)
Left Shoulder Button (forget what it's called, so I'll call it the Z2 Button) switched to a Special Attack button for easy shines with spacies and working on wave shines.
X Button switched from a jump button to a grab button for easy pivot grabs and easier L-Cancels.
And, of course, Tap Jump turned off because tap jump sucks imo lmfao.

So, what are your personalized setups, and for what reasons? I'm interested because, despite all the changes I made, I still feel like something is missing from my setup. I'm interested in seeing your setups, and to maybe help find what's missing from mine. I'll try to reply as frequent as possible!

For a Classic Controller:
B = Attack
X and A = Jump
Y = Special

Feels more like using a Gamecube Controller that way.
Ahh, I gotcha lol. The Fight Pad is almost exactly like a gamecube controller, except it's a little less bulky and has a second Z button. I recommend picking one up. They're only like 25$-30$.
