YELLO
Smash Journeyman
Let's rewind back to Smash 64 days for just a few
There used to be a mechanic in smash 64 that allowed to you to get off strong smash attacks the faster you were able to flick your joystick in the direction of the smash, this is also evident by grabbing an item and throwing the item by flicking the joystick in a certain direction, the faster you flick the joystick the further the item travels. You can also just hit the attack button (and not flick your joystick) to send it flying with the least force possible. This mechanic is also added to air attacks to my knowledge.
From playing smash64, melee, brawl and sm4sh, it seems to me that this mechanic was removed in Brawl and Sm4sh but Im having a difficult time actually finding the truth. Some players claim it still exists in all games, and others claim that the mechanic doesnt exist at all
Does anyone have any evidence to clear this issue up?
