People really like the moveset design?

Personally i love my main Peach's moveset design and i always use her, no matter how much she gets nerfed, almost all basic Peach's combos work in every Smash game!
However people don't think like that, if a character gets nerfed, they simply stop playing it, why?
For example: Compare the number of Fox mains in Melee to Fox mains in Ultimate, he's literally the same character and now almost nobody plays him lol

Some people just care more about tier placement than others.
I'll still be loyal to , even if he gets nerfed.
