Hello, smashboards, I believe I have found a new Melee glitch. It's not as epic as the Master Hand glitch, but it's still a Melee glitch, and that's something, right? To ensure that everyone knows about it, I have also posted it to neoseekers and topix. Soon, it will be common knowledge, which is my goal. All right, here we go!
Step one: Choose an ordinary Vs. mode melee.
Step two: Go into item switch, and set item frequency to NONE.
Step three: Choose a CPU Peach as your opponent, at any difficulty level.
Step four: Choose any character for yourself, and press Start.
Step five: Select the Hyrule Temple stage and start the match!
Step six: Lure Peach over to the top half of the stage, far left side (where the arch is).
Jump off the left half of the stage, and fall, jump, and up+B if necessary so that you land on the bottom half of the stage, far left side.
Step seven: If you did everything correctly, Peach should keep jumping to the right, but be unable to complete the jump as the small stub of land is in her way. Neat, huh?
Note: If you go too far to the right after landing or die after landing, Peach will stop jumping. If Peach is distracted by an item, she will stop jumping to pick it up, which is why I had you set item frequency to NONE.
Post any related glitches or thoughts on this glitch here. I will also accept online Brawl requests here.
