I suck against Peach. I know it should be in Marth's favor, but I am just plain bad against her. As much as i've learned about the MU, I always seem to have something wrong when I play a Peach.
It probably has something to do with my aggressive play style. I want to hear what people have to say on it. Maybe I need a mindset switch when i play against Peach? Let me know. Thanks dudes. (and girls maybe)

Try playing super... I don't know the word but not balls to the wall aggressive. Play aggresive so that she can't pull turnips but you HAVE to be able to space yourself perfectly so that she can't get in. Practice short hop double fair in order to be the king of the stage and keep control of the space between the two of you... Did any of that make sense? Basically spacing is #1 priority

Try looking up Apex 2013 Grand Finals and watching PPMD fight Armada, then see what he does? PPMD reset and was a few hits away from taking Armada to game 5 of set 2, so he's probably doing a lot of stuff right.

From my understanding, dtilt, fair, and bair are your friends in neutral, while uair is all you should be trying to do (or maybe utilt) when she's above you, and raw smash attacks are a TERRIBLE idea (if she hasn't committed, or only committed to a float-cancelled thing, you almost certainly shouldn't be using a smash attack).

Good spacing and dash-dancing make this MU a lot more manageable. Also, don't get too crazy/stylish with trying to edgeguard - if you can always just use fair, nair, or bair [or dtilt or even ftilt???] to hit her back out, she'll die eventually - the sting of 100 fairs will kill anyone in Melee, even if it seems to take forever.

You should google Armada's Marth vs. Peach guide from the melee it on me website.

It's written from the peaches prospective but you can use the information here to get a better sense of the match up. You can basically use the mistakes section on tips to improving. Also in order to get better help on your issues you'd probably have to be a bit more in-depth about what problems your having. Like to you get down smashed a lot? Do you just run and ariel on sheild? What specifically is happening?

I get hit with stupid things alot. I suppose it's because I don't play enough Peaches, but i get hit with dash attack a bunch. turnips, the occasional down smash. I suppose i shouldn't be trying to catch turnips, but I try that alot XD Like I said though, my main problem is mindset. I know Enemony said be aggressive but I do that and it sort of mindlessly get's me hit with dash attacks and stuff. Peach players are patient. I play fast.

Definitely listen to what the others are saying about watching high level Marth vs. Peach games. This should improve your knowledge of the MU and help show you that even the best Peach, Armada, can be beaten.

Staying close to Peach will help decrease the threat of turnip pressure, and this might be done by catching a turnip or countering an attack. But be careful not to catch one if you intend to use your sword right after (having a turnip in hand can often be a disadvantage). Once in close, take advantage of grabs and keep her by your side or in the air.

Evasion of attacks is key here, as turnips and dsmash will quickly get you to a high percent, so en evasive/defensive position is best suited until you are able to get a string of combos going or an edge guard situation.

Good insight so far.
What is a good option when they are floating high above and off the stage? Wait?
Don't be afraid to wait. Only engage if you have a clear advantage (like a spike or Ken combo situation). And remember that Marth is at his best fighting opponents in the air so as soon as Peach gets low enough start attacking her with nairs, fairs, uairs, etc. If she tries to grab edge then be ready with an edge guard, a dtilt should be good.

If you are feeling impatient while waiting then do some dash dancing below her for some mind games and it will help you to quickly get over to where she is landing.

Okay well with that said you can still learn from PP's mistakes. But yea you should definitely look at more videos than just that one. Really any match with Armada and some Marth player will be helpful. Also look at Mac D's peach.

What's the best way to approach to prevent turnips?
Again, looking at videos of other players would help you here as there are a lot of different strategies and mind games involved. You can catch them, counter them, use an attack to block them, power shield them, shield them, etc.

The "best" way to approach depends on your style of play, whether you are aggressive or defensive or something else.

Try to react to Peach when you see that she is pulling a turnip as the action is highly visible and includes some lag. You can also approach with nairs, fairs, and dtilts.
