Ok, so I've been playing smash for about a year, and I main in shiek. I have never gone online to look moves/combos up until a couple of days ago, thats when i found out about shieks chainable down throw. As I was reading about it, I saw something about PAL, which I guess affects the down throw, making it unchainable in some games. It works in mine, but I would like to know HOW to tell if a game is "PAL", and also, what does PAL stand for?

PAL is the European version of the game. It's the region code and also applies to DVDs and most other games(except handhelds, and I think next-gen?)

PAL is what they have in Europe and Australia most notably, so any version you get in the US will be non-PAL
