Screen is dark, so I'm pretty sure that is it.http://youtu.be/PsK0ghGiZWY?t=1m6s
Isn't that his final smash?
Oh yes, I overlooked the "screen darkening" which indicates a Final Smash.http://youtu.be/PsK0ghGiZWY?t=1m6s
Isn't that his final smash?
I thought it wouldn't be that. I thought he would get a boost in power using a Power Pellet. It's exactly what everyone thought it would be, just without opponents turning blue.
Why? The Power Pellet usually gives him the one hit kill eating powers anyway. lolI thought it wouldn't be that. I thought he would get a boost in power using a Power Pellet.
Pretty much this. His final smash is pretty clearly him turning into a giant 8-bit sprite and chasing everyone. As it should be.
That looks to be the case with the Pac-Man stage instead. It looks to function like the Golden Plains stage for the 3DS, only instead of collecting coins to power-up, you collect pellets. :]I thought it wouldn't be that. I thought he would get a boost in power using a Power Pellet.
Going off of this, I think that when you actually manage to get a character with your massive mouth, they turn into the little ghost eye thingies, then float up, at which point they go past the upper blast line and get KO'd. Or maybe it counts as a KO the second you eat them, and then they act like the classic ghosts, where they float back to the spot where they would spawn, and then turn back to normal.Related:
Get screwed Pit!
But actually, LOOK! WHEN THE CHARACTERS GET EATEN THOSE LITTLE GHOST EYES APPEAR! FANGASM!
Really creative idea. I'd love to see that happen.Going off of this, I think that when you actually manage to get a character with your massive mouth, they turn into the little ghost eye thingies, then float up, at which point they go past the upper blast line and get KO'd. You can see the floating eyes in that one pic with Pit. Not sure how it will work though.I'm guessing it is what was shown in the screenshot as well. I wonder what happens when he munches on the opponents though. I'm guessing they will fly off the stage but it'd be neat if Pac-Man just ate them and they were K.O.'d lol.
Yeah, but it seems as though Pac-Man is chasing down opponents in the video.Oh my God I didn't even notice the floating eyes.
Yeah that would be cheap if it is something that lasts as long as Giga Bowser, but if it's something that's a split second like Marth or Zelda's Final Smash, that would be different.
That song though.
I want it!

It's probably easy to avoid. So the problem is balanced out.Oh my God I didn't even notice the floating eyes.

It's confirmed that Pac-man's final smash is a directional final smash (making it more like Beast Ganon and Marth's Critical Hit from Brawl which means you have to dodge it the moment he activates it), and it might end up being the cheapest final smash in the game if it turns out to be a 1 hit KO final smash (Marth's was insanely easy to avoid (if you know what your doing), Pac-man's due to the size will be a lot harder since you would have to jump over the whole body, unless his mouth is where the hitbox is (thereby making it somewhat balanced).Yeah, but it seems as though Pac-Man is chasing down opponents in the video.

Smashwiki pretty much confirmed that it's a directional final smash, if you see the reveal trailer it moves in 1 direction.Where was that confirmed?

It's still too soon to judge. We can't say it's bad when we know nothing about it other than it's big andJudging from the video, it looks like one of the worst final smashes in the game. Considering how slow you move it should be easy to avoid.
