P-p-princess Peach?!

Hi, I've just started to learn Falco and although he's great, I have problems fighting Peach! Her aerials and smashes easily hit me off stage and with falco's not-so-great recovery, most of the time won't make it back. My question is, what are some good moves that are good against Peach? Is Peach supposed to be a hard matchup for Falco just like Jigglypuff and Marth? I'm really new to Falco so please be patient with me. >_< Oh and, when I shine cancel, I normally use X but it's quite hard to do it constantly. So which button should I use? Up or X? Thanks in advance!!

Since you seem to have trouble on defense, I have some tips for that:

Apparently if you get caught in her dsmash while shielding, light shield will save you (I haven't tried this since reading it, though).

When you're recovering and Peach is floating, ALWAYS recover low or high against Peach. Never in the middle. She'll do that lame bair crap. Learn to ledgetech. If you recover low and she dsmashes, walljump tech to illusion should get you to safety.

Camp her via lasers and platform movement. You need to learn to ledge tech, or you just won't live long enough to win the match up. Try and space your self with lasers and dash dances to bait her dash attacks and grabs. You also need to maintain pressure with hit and run and lasers so so can't grab turnips. Do not crouch cancel against Peach. Abuse your priority aerials, and don't get grabbed.

Hit l or r generally within 20 frames of getting hit, and di into the stage/edge. Most people generally hold up, so when they tech, they get a wall jump tech. However, if you hit the edge, and just hold over, you can instant phantasm to the edge and more often than not, avoid getting punished a second time.
