own made CSP's problem

I got a really weird problem. I follow the meowmix guide to CSP making. But when I'm finished and checking them out, the sides are really weird. You can see white lines etc.

The upper two are made by me. and the 2 on the bottom are made by some else.
Could someone explain to me what im doing wrong?

I assume you're talking about the edges of the character portrait, and yeah, without some kind of anti-aliased edges they're going to look bad. Smooth out the edges of the portrait with Photoshop.
