This event will be hosting Sm4sh Singles and Doubles. We plan on hosting Melee at some point in the future, but we need the numbers to guarantee interest for it.
Location:
3405 N. 5th St. Hwy, Reading, PA 19605
Venue Details:
If needed, there is plenty of parking space in front of the venue, as well as parking spaces all around the area.
There are multiple restaurants within walking distance from the venue, such as McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King, Subway, Sheetz, Bojangles, and many others.
The venue is spacious and capable of hosting very large tournaments with ease. If you would like to see pictures of the venue, feel free to either look up the venue online or use the contact info at the bottom to ask for pictures of the venue. Drinks and food are sold at the venue as well.
Fees:
Venue Fee - $5 Cash
Entry Fee per Event:
Singles - $5 Cash
Doubles - $5 Cash per person ($10 per team)
100% of the Entry Fee will be divided amongst the top placing participants for both singles and doubles events. The payout is as follows:
1st Place: 60%
2nd Place: 30%
3rd Place: 10%
Our Schedule will run as follows:
4:00PM - 5:00PM - Open Play and Registration for Doubles and Singles
4:50PM - Registration for Doubles ends and first event begins.
5:00PM - Doubles event is run.
~6:20PM - Registration for Singles ends Singles event begins.
~6:30PM - Singles event is run.
A Resurrection Bracket will be run for all players who go 0-2 (0 Wins and 2 Losses) once Round 2 of Losers is finished.
Resurrection Bracket Details:
$2 Entry for the Resurrection Bracket
If less than 6 people qualify for the Resurrection Bracket, it will be ran as a round robin bracket, where the winner is determined by the player who has the best win/loss record.
Winner Takes All, so the winner of the Resurrection Bracket will take 100% of the prize pot. No additional fees are required.
Format:
Each event will run a double-elimination bracket.
Setup Discount:
The first three people to bring a full setup for Smash Wii U (TV, Wii U, copy of Smash for Wii U, cords for both TV and WII U, Gamecube adapter) will have their Venue Fee waived.
