Imagining new stages is fun. Here's some of my ideas - praise, condemn, do whatever you want to them. I'm cool with it. I realize many of them may not make much sense to do, but I'm just adding them for coolitude anyway.
Stage Title - Character - Game
Ganon's Tower - Ganondorf - WindWaker
Well, we've had MM (Great Bay), LoZII(Temple), TP(Bridge of Eldin), and generic Hyrule(Hyrule Castle) represented so far. It's WW's turn. The fight takes place on the top of Ganon's Tower during the final duel with Ganon. Statuary and other things are added around the edges to make it more interesting. The stage is cell-shaded, and the whole time the Great Sea is raining down.
Clock Town - Link - Majora's Mask
Not much fleshed out in this idea, but you gotta admit Clock Town would give a lot of opportunity for a pretty interesting stage.
Pipe - Captain Falcon - F-Zero X
Think of it this way - Mute City meets Brinstar Depths. Platforms go in a complete circle, and you play on them as you fight through a twisting pipe. The platforms twist, rapidly but still safely. For example, the platform you're standing on suddenly comes out from under your feet as the whole stage twists, so you fall and land on another that suddenly turned into place at your feet.
Tallon IV - Samus - Metroid Prime
I don't know much about this game, as I've only played 10% of it. But I would like to implement as much of a classic Metroid "escape-the-world-before-it-blows-up" concept as possible.
Subterranean Pipe Complex - Luigi - Classic Mario through PM2
An underground level with the classic underworld music, lots of pipes to travel through. The stage is even seperated so that you can't navigate it all without passing through a pipe. The atmosphere, though, would be pulled from the Rogueport Sewers from Thousand-Year-Door.
City Trial - Kirby - Kirby Air Ride
That city from Air Ride would be the place for this stage - you know that rail that circumnavigates the city? Somethign involving passing along that rail to each various stop in and aroun the city would be what this stage entails. However, it shouldn't be too similar to Isle Delfino.
Bowser's Castle - Bowser - Super Mario Bros.
Classic themed stage, including lava, leaping podoboos, and vertically scrolling platforms.
Mii Plaza - Generic - The Wii
The minimalistic backdrop of white and neon blue make this stage feel like you're fighting in the Wii Menu itself. The floor is designed like the tile from the Mii Plaza. It's a walkoff stage, and the simple floating platforms are always altering. The trademark of this stage are that the Miis on your Wii as well as the Parade are are part of it. They walk around in the background and foreground, frequently crossing the field of play and becoming involved in the fight.
Flat Zone - Mr. Game&Watch - The Game&Watch
It would be way better than the Melee version. The stage actually switches and morphs depending on player interaction. But there's not much thought-through on my part.
Temple of Light - Zelda - Ocarina of Time
This stage would make the same effect that Fountain of Dreams first gave in Melee to the appropriate degree for Brawl. It would be begin for a brief while (maybe 30sec to 1m) in the Temple of Time, where there are floors, walls, and cieling so there's no KO's right now, just racking up damage. Then the pedestal glows and everyone is transported into the Temple of Light, and they stand on that bluw, watery platform and fight while each Sage takes a turn on their medallion in the background. Each does something special - not to copy Poke Stadium, though. They'd mostly morph the background into a gorgeous scene and be involvd like healing the players or setting the platform on fire or something.
