I mostly play ice climbers in tournament And I cant hold a level of play to win local events. I get tired and fall off. So I've been trying to slow myself down and them if needed.

This has always been the thing keeps me away from our larger event money.

I'll beat a peach in bracket and be tired after and lose to a sheik.

Sometimes I wobble past the point of alright just to slow them down so I can play slower as well.

How do You keep playing at Your peak for so long? Thoughts on slowing people down. I might start doing d throw dair chain throws on people who are patient and focus on di just to keep them struggling

Starts with taking care of your body first. Make sure you get enough sleep and some food in before tourney and during w/e. In terms of mental strength it comes down to both confidence in ability and experience. Only way to strengthen that is to keep playing people. Under no circumstance should you panic. It'll drain your mental strength and demoralize you.

i play kirby and sheik whenever i feel drained. still requires thinking but i'm not screwed if i'm not always thinking for every second and they are more basic. idk i also have fun playing kirby, even when braindead.

I recently had a loss stemming from some weird mix of exhaustion/laziness/low motivation. I was up two stocks to one on game three and I kind of gave up on taking the match seriously. The rest of the match was filled with me doing weird rolls and easy to cover getup options along with sluggish movement. It sucked and I guess the other guy really wanted to win more at the time.

The obvious answer to the exhaustion problem would be to take care of your body, but don't underestimate the effects of your own attitude.

I'm high energy but I get tired much to quickly it seems.

I just hit E very quickly and people have said man I was afraid You were going to win after You reset the bracket but You crashed and I 0-3 You

If you have a long bracket with a lot of bad players, I've heard that many people have a simple secondary strategy that doesn't require thinking that they use on lower level players. I'm terribad so I wouldn't know, but it seems like it could help conserve mental strength.
