Hey all! I wanted to show you all something I'm working on at the moment. Remember Ondo's Out-of-the-Box CSS mod for Brawl/Project M? Well I fricken love that thing. It just looks so good! So I figured, why not try out something similar in Melee? So I got to work. I dumped all the Melee CSS Character Assets in Dolphin (you can get the vMelee ones here) and started editing stuff. Here's what I've got so far.
Only the top row is done, and a lot of it's pretty rough (namely Yoshi and DK). I just wanted to get some feedback and see if anyone would actually be interested in something like this. And to anyone interested, should I use only the Melee renders for this? So far it's been kinda problematic, especially for characters like DK, Jiggs, and IC's (who have cut off CSP's) and characters like Fox, Mewtwo, and Roy (who have different poses in their CSPs). So should I use other renders or stick with just the Melee ones? The Brawl renders lend themselves pretty well to this whole thing as Ondo has shown us, so that could be a possibility. Remember any and all feedback is appreciated. I'm actually looking for constructive criticism so please, by all means, voice your opinions!

As of now, this is only meant for use with Dolphin. At the moment I have no plans to make this usable with actual discs, though if anyone knows how to do that please tell me how! Anyway, this is meant for use with Dolphin through it's built in custom texture support. First go into Dolphin. BEFORE LOADING THE ISO, click "Graphics Settings" then go into the "Advanced" tab. Check the box that says "Load Custom Textures". Now, exit out of Dolphin and navigate to the folder that your Dolphin program is in (it's usually called "Dolphin Emulator" and it should be located in your Documents folder unless you chose to install it somewhere else). There should be a folder called "Load", and inside of that, a folder called "Textures". In this "Textures" folder make a folder called "GALE01" if you're using an NTSC ISO or "GALP01" if you're using a PAL ISO. This is where you'll be putting any modified textures (including the ones for this mod once/if it's released).
