what are the most common color palettes you see online? I'll make a list right here. These colors are so common, you cant even say you main that color. It's practically the regular color. So many people use it that it makes you want to pick a different color because it's "unoriginal."

Fireball mario's my ****. It's the only one I use other than classic really. Cotton candy's for special occasions

I think a lot of people go for the original color. Without originals, I always thought the 'Merica' mario would be the most popular choice.

As for Dr. Mario. I say blue/green seems right. I used to go for black back in melee, but the Red feels right for me.
