Most of the time when talking about representation, fighters is all you hear about, but in this thread I want to ask what franchise you think has the "Goldilocks" level of representation across everything from trophies to stages to assist trophies. Keep in mind that not every franchise has a lot of applicable content in a particular field as well. Also, please keep it civil as many are bound to disagree.

For me, I think The Legend of Zelda hit prime levels of representation. While it did not receive a new fighter (I do think that there just are not many options left other than maybe Impa), it got several new items, two new assists, one of the largest trophy selections, and almost all of it's stages from past games (RIP Great Bay) are present giving it the second largest stage selection.

To me, I think Punch-Out!!! received excellent representation from Brawl to Smash 3DS/Wii U considering in Brawl it only had the assist trophy and Jogging Theme in the original Famicom Medley.

In terms of being both a new non-third-party franchise and one of the last few "classic but not technically retro" series left and in comparison to other newcomers, it is on par with Metroid in Brawl in terms of trophies (whereas Brawl had every Hunter/main antagonist from the recent games, Punch-Out!!! had almost all of the fighters in the latest Wii entry), got its own stage with two cosmetic variations, and Little Mac himself has the most amount of alternate costumes (even if it is just one palette swap on two separate models, still adds up to over 16 unique options) as well as unique victory animations in that Doc Louis always appears bar in team modes (while not discounting Chrom for Robin's, Chrom doesn't always show up), and can be heard during Little Mac's taunts.

While I would have loved seeing a new assist trophy, and possibly a few more songs than just the 2 "main/iconic" theme remixes, I think they did the series justice, and make me hopeful that PO will remain a series' staple for any future titles.
