Hello! I'm somewhat new to smashboards and I wanted to create this post to ask, which character between the following two should I continue to use for serious competitive play; Young Link or Game & Watch? Personally I like G&W as a character he's fun for me to use but sadly I know he's on the bottom of the tier list whereas Young Link (another favorite of mine) has a better advantage compared to G&W. So please let me know what you guys think on who I should stick to.

If you are looking for a character to use in serious competitive, I'd suggest taking a look at the S Rank characters, like Sheik or Marth.

You're gonna have trouble winning with YL or GnW.

You should just use both, though be aware that you'll likely never be able to win major tournaments with either of those 2 characters. Also, for future posts like this, you should post in the Melee Discussion forums. There's a Social thread or FAQ thread so that way you don't have to create a new thread for simple questions.
