I just looked through the update discussion thread(Not read everything but used the ctrl+f on every page) and noticed that except for Looooni, no one noticed/cared for there being another option in the settings menu, so as to get some thoughts about it I'd just post here as to not get the post drowned by the already-going discussion.
What do you think the Operation Service is?
If I'd have to guess, I'd probably say it's an option to allow/block the updates sent through Nintendo(Daily stage, etc.) but that's a long shot I guess.
