OoT Water Temple Rant Thread

I only had to mention the water temple in another thread and it turned into a 'UNITED AGAINST WATER' thread. Everyone hates the water temple, why did they put it in the freakin' game? The temple alone was harder than the game Kid Icarus. AND DON'T MENTION KID ICARUS AGAIN IN THIS THREAD. I MEAN IT.

Kid Icarus.

Water temple was annoying yeah. But deep down I think we all have a liking for it because it's one of the most remembered bits in the game.

The spiked walls in the boss room were annoying. I also disliked the Shadow temple.

Ya feel great after completing it though. Then you can get the Fire Arrows. You don't know how many times I tried to get the Fire Arrows without completing the Water Tample first

The Water Temple was probably one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences of my life! its challenging, even after a could of re-runs, the puzzles were fantastic.. plus the music, the longshot, the general calming blue-ness... total gaming excellence.

Compare it to the dull as dish-Water Temple in Twilight Princess and tell me it wasn't great.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone else think Twilight Princess was just downright boring while Majoras Mask remains the greatest game ever made..?

I really did like MM, but I wouldn't say its the greatest game ever made.

Yes, I really hate the Water Temple, but a few days ago buckled down and Beat it. God I hated that 1 hour 30 mins of my life..

Instead of separate topics about different things in OoT, how about we make an "Ocarina of Time" thread where you can talk about Zelda being Sheik, how much the Water Temple owns, and whatever else?
